INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened on Thursday in the borough. Police say around 1:50 PM on November 15th, the owner of a green Subaru called police and told them that he was involved in a crash. He had been driving northbound on South 6th Street. When the car approached the intersection with Church Street, a red SUV-type vehicle hit the car, and then fled the scene. Neither of the car’s occupants were injured but the vehicle was damaged. Indiana Borough Police have charged a Wyomissing man with possession of marijuana. Police say on November 13th that they encountered 23-year-old Justin Maloney on North 10th street and was found in possession of marijuana. Maloney was charged via criminal complaint.
A criminal complaint was filed against a Washington, PA man for drug-related crimes. Indiana Borough Police say this goes back to August 19th, but they are filing the charges now. On that day, Police say that 37-year-old Paul Phasupong was found in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Phasupong was charged in a criminal complaint with possession of a controlled substance and of paraphernalia.
