UPDATE: REA Energy reports that as of 9:00, all but seven customers have had power restored.
WHAT WE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED
Both REA and Penelec are continuing to report power outages this morning, but not as serious as the ones reported yesterday.
Both REA and Penelec are reporting outages in the Clymer area. Right now, 260 of REA Energy’s customers are without power in the Purchase Line area, while Penelec is reporting that between 21 and 100 of their customers are without power. Penelec says that tree damage is to blame for this outage and repairs are already being worked on. Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 this morning.
Other outages being reported include another tree related outage on Route 119 just south of Home station affecting 1-20 Penelec customers. Smaller outages have also been reported near Chambersville, on Airport Road and some homes off of Lazor Street in White Township. Those three outages are of unknown origins, but are expected to be restored by 11:30 this morning.
