White township supervisors are holding off passing a new stormwater management ordinance for now.
At last night’s meeting, the new ordinance was up for adoption, but some supervisors said that they had some problems with parts of the ordinance that they felt did not apply to White Township, and some parts that need clarification. The supervisors asked for a workshop session on November 29th, and Township Manager Milt Lady said that they will work on the ordinance during that workshop. One of the issues that they will focus on will be the difference between residential and non-residential properties, so that parts of the ordinance that refer to non-residential properties can be made clear.
