An Indiana man is charged with theft by deception for allegedly trying to pay for items at a store with phony money. Indiana Borough Police say 28-year-old Donald Griffin attempted to purchase the merchandise at an establishment in the 300 block of Pratt Drive on August 31st. Police don’t provide any description of the fake cash.
Borough police also say someone stole a self-propelled push mower from a home in the 300 block of North 5th Street sometime between October 20th and 30th. The mower is a red Craftsman, 6-and-a-half horsepower model. If you have information on the theft, you are asked to call police at 349-2121.
