Sentencing is scheduled in Indiana County Court today for a number of defendants, most of whom pleaded guilty to reduced charges in criminal cases.
Harold Bartlebaugh of Glen Campbell will be sentenced for recklessly endangering another person, in exchange for non-prosecution on charges of rape, sexual assault, terroristic threats, and indecent assault. That case was from June of last year.
25-year-old Malik Ibn Abdulhadi of Indiana, will be sentenced for simple assault, with agreement for non-prosecution on charges of strangulation and disorderly conduct. He choked, hit, and pulled the hair of a woman at a location on South Fisher Avenue in April.
Also scheduled for sentencing today is 21-year-old Tyquan Morris, an inmate at SCI Pine Grove who is from Lehigh County. A jury found him guilty of two counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment, plus a single count of disorderly conduct for assaulting two corrections officers last December. His original sentence was for robbery and rape.
19-year-old Dakil Blair of Pittsburgh will be sentenced for criminal trespass, with non-prosecution for possession with intent to deliver and a firearms offense. He was one of three men involved in an attempted break-in last December on Grant Street in Indiana. When police arrived, they all ran and during the chase, Blair threw away a handgun, 192 stamp bags of heroin, and about 8 grams of crack cocaine.
Other sentencing proceedings today:
- 37-year-old Robert Ayres of Indiana will be sentenced for a guilty plea to simple assault, with non-prosecution for aggravated assault and related charges.
- 32-year-old Brandon McKelvey of Indiana will be sentenced for simple assault.
- 19-year-old Robert Lindsay III of Indiana will be sentenced for robbery.
- 27-year-old Dakota Karaffa of Numine will be sentenced for three guilty pleas to theft.
- Robert Wilson III of Pittsburgh will be sentenced for receiving stolen property.
There are five Plea Court proceedings scheduled today in Indiana County Court, including one defendant involved in three cases.
24-year-old Jaceb Paul Schrecengost of Indiana will enter pleas to terroristic threats and harassment in a case from June of this year. He will also plead to two counts of robbery – one of which involved the threat of serious injury – along with receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault. The incident occurred in August. Finally, he will plead to terroristic threats, an offensive weapons charge, and recklessly endangering for another case in June.
23-year-old Ricky James Wilcox of Indiana will be in plea Court to answer charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, in May of this year.
30-year-old Luke Fishel of Indiana will enter pleas today to charges of terroristic threats and harassment in July of this year.
