PSP-PUNXSUTAWNEY
A Marion Center man had suspected minor injuries in a crash involving a car and a train in Gaskill Township in nearby Jefferson County. State Police in Punxsutawney say that 19-year-old Bryant Miloser of Marion Center wsa going North on Bowers Road towards the northbound railroad tracks and noticed that a train was coming. He tried to slow down but could not stop in time and collided with train. The car was pushed about 100 yards down the railroad tracks after impact. Miloser suffered suspected minor injuries and refused medical attention.
Few details are available on a monetary scam that happened in North Mahoning Township. State Police from the Punxsy barracks say this happened between October 1st and 3rd. The investigation remains open at this time.
INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police have charged a Clymer woman with theft, receiving stolen property and retail theft for an incident back in August. Police say around 4:08 PM, 36-year-old Sarah Fisher was in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street and she took items that did not belong to her. No word on what she actually took. Fisher was charged in a criminal complaint.
