Two of the five suspects whom state police listed as the “five most wanted” for November are now in custody.
44-year-old Todd Eric Quidetto of Blairsville turned himself in at the state police barracks in White Township at 9:30 Saturday morning. Quidetto was charged in September with failure to register as required under the state’s Megan’s Law in July.
On Friday afternoon at 4:30, 28-year-old Benjamin Joel Mains was apprehended in Homer City after police received “numerous tips from members of the public,” according to Trooper Clifford Greenfield. Mains was charged in August with felony attempted burglary and criminal trespass for an attempted break-in in Homer City. He faces charges in two additional criminal filings, for theft by deception, receiving stolen property, and harassment in July, and for criminal mischief in March of 2017.
The three “five most wanted” suspects still at large as of this writing are 44-year-old John Benko of Clymer, 30-year-old Travis Boychuck of Cherry Tree, and 26-year-old Jacie Long of Indiana.
