One person was injured in a crash involving a dump truck on Route 119 just outside of Homer City.
Fire crews were called out around 8 o’clock Saturday night to the intersection of Route 119 and Lucerne Road. Homer City fire officials said that a car rear-ended a coal dump truck in the northbound lanes near the intersection. The driver of the car had minor injuries and refused treatment, while the driver of the truck was not injured. The car was disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
The identity of the driver was not released.
