State police out of Kittanning have arrested a Rural Valley man and charged him with statutory sexual assault.
Police say the charges in this case goes back to June when 20-year-old Jordan Blake Grove of Rural Valley picked up a 14-year-old Dixonville girl at her home and drove her out to his house in Rural Valley. Grove then proceeded to have sexual relations with the victim. After Grove took a nap, he drove the girl back to her house.
District Attorney Pat Dougherty’s office approved the charges against Grove and he now faces charges of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent assault. Grove was placed in Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for November 13th.
