Those who take Neal Road in Center Township to get to where they need to go may want to find an alternate route today as a portion of that road will close.
Center Township Supervisor David “Butch” Smyers announced that the portion of Neal Road that is affected by this closure is a section close to the Neal Dairy Farm. The closure is needed so that crews can install a drainage pipe.
A detour has been posted for that portion of Neal Road, and local emergency responders and the school district have been notified of the road closure. Smyers says that if all goes well, the closure will only be in effect for one day.
