A school fitness center will be the focus of some of the discussion tonight at the Marion Center School Board meeting.
The agenda for tonight’s meeting includes two proposals from Webster Fitness: one for flooring and the other for equipment that will go into the fitness center. The quote for the flooring will not exceed $16,632, while the equipment quote will not exceed $41,055.
Also up for approval is the recommendation of a three-year Administrative Compensation Plan for the certificated with a salary increase each year as outlined in the Act 93 agreement. A memorandum of understanding concerning the maintenance staff is also up for approval. This includes at 2.75% salary increase each year of the agreement. And the board will also look at eliminating a 4-hour Nutrition Services position.
