No injuries were reported as a car caught fire on Oakland Avenue this morning.

Indiana Fire Association was called out at 10:15 to the intersection of Oakland and 13th Street near IUP campus. The trunk of a two-door compact car caught fire. Indiana Fire Association Assistant Chief Lee Thompson said that the cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Everyone in the car was able to get out quickly. Traffic was tied up on Oakland Avenue for an hour until the car could be towed away.
